Are you a passionate and experienced SENCo looking for a fulfilling leadership role in a dynamic alternative provision setting? 

SENCo Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of SEND provision across the alternative provision
  • Coordinate EHCP applications, reviews, and annual meetings
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and the local authority (Hillingdon Borough)
  • Support and train staff on inclusive practice and differentiation
  • Ensure the SEN school remains compliant with all statutory SEN requirements
  • Drive high-quality interventions and promote best practice across the curriculum

Ideal SENCo Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO)
  • Has proven leadership experience in an SEN or alternative provision setting
  • Deep understanding of SEND Code of Practice and inclusive education
  • Strong communicator, able to work collaboratively with multi-agency teams
  • Values-driven, passionate about transforming lives through education
